BENEFITS OF MEMBERSHIP
Membership in NWTFA/COPA 108 entitles members to participate in the various activities and initiatives undertaken by the organization. Annual activities include "Rust Remover" recurrent pilot training, annual general meeting and break-up barbeque, and freeze-up party and chili cook-off. Ongoing initiatives include discussion with the City of Yellowknife concerning floatplane parking for resident and visiting pilots and consultation with Parks Canada regarding the creation of a national park on Great Slave Lake. Although NWFTA is a COPA flight, membership in NWTFA does not constitute membership in COPA itself.
Several of the valued sponsors of NWTFA/COPA 108 have partnered with us to provide discounts to our members. These discounts include preferential rates for aviation fuel and aircraft covers.
Membership provides access to the "members only" sections of the NWTFA website. These sections include detailed information on "Places to Fly", the membership directory, and access to discount codes.
